  • Yes, hair growth will be reduced permanently with consistent use - you will need to perform multiple sessions for optimal results, followed by occasional follow-up sessions to maintain them.

  • While IPL devices are designed to support safe hair removal across a wide range of hair colours and skin tones, they are generally suitable for individuals with light to medium skin tones. People with medium-dark skin tones may need to consult a professional dermatologist before using an IPL device to minimise the risk of hyperpigmentation (dark spots on the skin) or other complications.

  • You may experience a slight warm sensation when using the device, however, with the NUMIE Aura's advanced FrostTouch Cooling Technology, the experience will be virtually painless. If you experience any unpleasant side effects while using the IPL device, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional dermatologist.

  • In most cases, there will be no side effects, but it is normal to experience temporary redness or mild swelling after a session. Over time, this will subside. Avoid using the IPL device for longer than the recommended time specified in the manual to prevent risks of skin damage or injury.

  • You should avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure before you begin treatment. You can use an exfoliating glove, but do so at least 24 hours before using an IPL device for your safety. After completing a session, continue to avoid sun and heat exposure, as well as strong exfoliants.
